Fiona has been invited to perform the Glazunov Saxophone Concerto with the Beethoven Chamber Orchestra later this year at St. John's, Smith Square, under the conductor Patrick Noronha. More information to follow.

The latest album from the Veya Saxophone Quartet is now available. "On a Lighter Note" showcases some of the music that they play on a regular basis at weddings, functions, corporate events, music clubs and at many of the workshops and performances that they give as members of the Live Music Now! The quartet has also been invited to perform at London's prestigious new concert venue, King's Place. The new creative centre will be unveiled to the public on 1st October 2008 and the VSQ will be performing on Tuesday 28th October as part of a multi-ensemble concert, where they will be performing works by Graham Fitkin and Joe Cutler. Also playing in the concert will be the Elysian Quartet and Tim Parkinson.

Fiona has been invited back to perform in William Walton's Facade in Canterbury under the conductor Grenville Hancox. The performance will be taking place on 18th September. More information to follow.

In October Fiona will be involved in a series of workshops in East London with the education group, Create (www.createarts.org.uk). The workshops are being lead by James Redwood and dancer Tom Dale (www.tomdale.org.uk)
